Ken Mori is a Los Angeles-based industrial designer turned artist whose focus is on upcycled sculptures and objects. His practice is inspired by street art, skateboarding and waste as they resist the status quo. Ken’s sculptures, costumes, installations and objects embody the joy, disgust and absurdity of predominant consumer culture. He has been the Artist-in-Residence at reDiscover’s Cardboard City and 826/LA/TimeTravel Mart. Ken’s work has been published in SkateArt, From the Object to the Artwork, Urban Furniture: A New City Live and ReadyMade Magazine.
